THE LEGACY PROJECT
In 2016, Bridges Out of Poverty ran a writing series for under-resourced women in South Bend, IN to give voice to their experiences. I was invited to write a poem that spoke to the theme of this effort. Threaded through the featured self-narrated pieces of these extraordinary women is my poem “Lore.” It is my honor to have been part of this project. YEAR END
Presenting YEAR END, my first self-made poem-video!
I wanted to convert one of the poems from my collection “Stones Hold Water” (forthcoming June 2022, Finishing Line Press) into a video and enjoyed learning how to do it. This is a first foray and I hope to continue improving and making more!
